Relationship to Diabetes

This is Newcastle University & RVI excellent facility in the North East 🙂 They are a very good group of Drs working on Transplants & Islet research. I have seen the set up & met Drs from Usa, Finland, & UK. Have a look on Web to see what they are doing ! 😎

From Usa, Japan? 😉 Or do you mean the USA?

(Note that contrary to one urban myth, Usa was founded over 1,000 years before the USA came into being, and it isn't and never has been the site of any of Japan's major industries.)
 
Hi Robert, pls have a look on web about how good & positive they are up here in the North East. When I worked in London a few years ago, if they found out you were from Newcastle you had the job. They have that attitude 😉

Hi Dan. They are really good at what they are doing. They are planning a walk this year somewhere in Tyne valley. Type in "Nuc diabetes" Rvi Newcastle. 😎
 
Will let everyone know when "walk" is happening & where 😉
 
Walk is 17 may around 10 & involves the Tyne. NOT in water :D when I know more I will post. 🙂
 
Has anyone had a look on web about this team 🙂 I don't know how to put the article up but worth a look.

Another "Bump" Good Drs. I will be doing "Scar fell pike" this year for there research fund 😱. In my 50yr of T1 😱😱
 
Raised a couple £ for them. The walk we did was from Newcastle ct station to Wylam with many Drs from the team inc Prof Shaw. My Mam & Dad (84) Wife, Daughter. Basically not my son who is the fittest 😎 More than 12 miles past Stevenson's cottage 😎
 
Been up at Newcastle uni today with Voice North which is a good group of people helping with research etc 🙂
 
Unfortunately I can't read the link Hobie. Good to hear of the good work though, it's my old university! Happy days! 🙂

Good stuff Hobieman. Glad to hear about the work being done up in the North East. Keep us posted about forthcoming fundraisers. I will be happy to put a little something in the pot for such a worthwhile cause.
