Good morning.

Seems I’m slipping up all over the place lately.
I’ve just picked up the work van and realised I didn’t put my new supply of insulin in the fridge and left it in the van since Thursday afternoon.
I’ve just stuck it in the fridge now. Will it be safe to use still or should I order another batch? My concern is it had been quite hot lately.

How hot did it get? I’d keep it but mark the boxes with an X so I knew it was potentially degraded. Have you used any yet? Do you have any insulin left from a previous order? I’d probably be looking to replace it but wouldn’t throw it away yet. I’ve taken insulin pens to the beach and out and about when hot and they’ve been ok. It depends on how hot it got really. If it looks different then definitely throw it away.

Ok cheers.
Im sure how hot it got here really as I’ve been away but yeah I will mark the box. I guess if I use any of them I will just make sure I keep an eye to make sure there working properly. I might throw the Levemir actually as I won’t be able to monitor that as well.

Yes I do have more at home luckily
