Hi all. I have been on this stevedore and found it really useful however due to the challenges of daily life it's been 5 years since I have been on.
I am now nearly 30 and still having the same struggles I was having when I was first diagnosed 14 years ago. I want to change and really want to be getting better control of my diabetes. I have a pump that I have had for 3 years and since having this I have not been admitted to hospital with anything diabetes related. But I still have a hba1c that is far to high (in old money around 14). I have just had laser eye surgery as I had sight threatening retinopathy. I'm reaching a point where I don't k of what to do anymore. I start doing my testing and it goes well and I'm eating properly and then I'll get a couple of high readings and then I'm like it doesn't matter what I do it's high so give up. Hopefully with the help of the group I can re find why bother with it all.
Thanks for reading
