Hi everyone. Sorry I've not been posting for a while but I have rubbish access to the internet.

Im hoping you might remember me ans my twin sister.
Well tonight my twin got rushed to hospital in an ambulance after bevoming really unresponsive and unable to walk. She had been really sick yesterday (Tuesday) so my mum originally thought it was exhaustion (when my sister could still walk). Anyway she got worse and the doctor was called and he thought it was a mix of the bug that had made her so sick and a chest infection as her blood oxygen levels were really low. So an ambulance was called and she was rushed up to a&e where they ran tests and they now think its a throat infection. Her blood sugar levels were 38 mmol when tested!!!!! She has never been great at taking her insulin or testing her blood, infact was only saying to me a week agk dhe didnt know when she last tested. Im terrified for her n I wish she would realise what shes doing to herself and us around her. The doctors say this has been a long time coming and hasnt been caused by a recent thing.
What im trying to say is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your best to take your insulin or tablets as the look on my mums face when the ambulance was called will haunt me forever. My sisters been sooooo god damn lucky today n hopefully this might be whats needed to get her to take her meds but im not holding my breath. Im by no means a perfect diabetic but I sure as damned going to try harder controlling it now
.

Love and support to you all xxxx

So sorry to hear that Loubie, fingers crossed though being in IC will mean one to one treatment and attention, so stands an even better chance of recovery sooner rather than later.
