Thanks everyone 🙂 He examined my eyes through his contraption first - took quite a while over it, but then said there were no changes. Then he started examining the scans on his computer and seemed to be lingering a bit too long over them - I was thinking to myself 'Oi! You can't go changing your mind now you've just told me I'm OK!' 😱

Going back in 6 months Donald. I know people have far worse things to deal with, I think the thing that gets to me about this is that my control has always been excellent - my HbA1c has been in the 5s since a few months after diagnosis, and was 5.4% last time - so I just feel that if things start going wrong then the one thing that you get told to improve is not actually an option for me.

I like to hear good news, especially about the eyes, but I go for my 1st Laser treatment on Monday afternoon.
At least, the weather will have cooled down by then 😉, but I will still take my sunglasses with me. Sheena
