Oh what a relief! Good.
Now I'll tell you about the 'cramp' LOL
After the op, hubby used to get cramp in the middle of the night especially, in that leg (the side the sciatic nerve was trapped) I used to routinely leap out of bed with him and massage the area but TBH it didn't seem to help. They routinely asked him how his cramp was at all the follow-ups. It did lessen eventually and when he went for his very last appt, some 2 years after the op, he got told for the very first time - it wasn't cramp and had never been cramp !
What it was, was the damaged nerve repairing itself !
In a similar way we hear that D's with neuropathy improve their BGs and bingo, start getting pain (pins & needles, whatever) in eg their previously numb feet, as their damaged nerves try to reconnect themselves to the 'Grid'.
I was disgusted - I'd lost all that sleep and I could have just grunted and turned over for all the good it did! LOL
