Flower that's great news about the pump being replaced so quickly. My pump warranty ends in November put the hospital won't arrange a new one until it has actually broken and you can only contact them Monday to Friday. This will be a nightmare for me because my evening bolus has to be a six hour extended wave to minimise hypos. I'm so pleased that you got your pump replaced so easily 🙂

Wrong info Amanda! The Roche pump helpline when you ring after hours and press whichever number on the menu it happens to be for that, puts you through to a message service manned by a person - if you DO have a real problem, someone rings you back asap. I used that service one evening because I DID have trouble and got someone really unhelpful in the daytime. Middle aged sounding Scots bloke (who was one of the pump reps elsewhere in England) rang me back after about 20 mins and apologised for the delay - and sorted it by arranging to send me a new pump the very next day, so it was the NEXT morning that it arrived, so I was without it for approx. 36 hours. Tedious with only Novorapid to hand - but nobody died or had their feet drop off !
 
Hi Jenny when my pump failed it was 5pm on a Monday. I was told that they'd missed the courier for the day so I didn't get the replacement pump until the Wednesday morning. Do they send pumps out at the weekend?
 
Just to add if I was to bolus up front for my evening meal I would probably drop dead....
