Morning
@wispadreams, the comment you made regarding your vision seeming clearer upon waking having worn the mask overnight is definitely something I can relate to , especially today having last night started my 3rd mask yesterday , I also feel vision is definitely clearer on waking (than before)
I decided to get my first mask around the same time as
@Pam123 did, initially I wasn’t convinced / was still unsure if it was worth the expense, and for the first 12 weeks didn’t wear it every night
after it expired, I didn’t immediately order my second, but often I received encouragement from
@Pam123 and others (via the Facebook users group)
I decided to get a second which I wore for about 91/2 weeks (then recently expired before the 12 weeks was up due to a fault where it didn’t turn off then expired early I suspect the batteries must’ve given up as it wasn’t switching off)
the faulty mask was partially refunded to cover as it hadn’t lasted the full 90 days, and a new one ordered, after I called Polyphotonix
these days I sleep much better with it on than I did at first, and no longer feel the need to tape it to my forehead
I had my last appointment a few weeks ago (on 21/07) and again didn’t require injections, the constant I’m under at the DMO Clinic commented that the swelling I have had noticeably reduced, so now rather than the 6 weekly scans examinations I had previously been having, I’m being moved to every two months for monitoring, whilst some ophthalmologists are quite dismissive of the Noctura mask, the one I’m currently under has agreed it can’t do any harm and possibly help as she is aware some Ophthalmologist and consultants within the NHS do think it might help some patients
Hope you and anyone else using it, gets on well with the Noctura 400 mask, I’m actually surprised it’s not more widely used by others & discussed on here
