Hello KookyCat - thanks for the welcome!
Stitch - I used to love my purple pair of DMs - but the agony to 'break them in' still lives with me - those poor blisters!
Khskel and Trophywench I didn't mean to cause any Anarchy 😉

Hi, welcome to the forum. Fun fact, I saw Nirvana in a pub (Duchess of York) in 1989. Thought they were OK, but I was actually there to see Tad...

Diabetes is no Heart Shaped Box & it certainly doesn't Smell Like Teen Spirit. I certainly don't get a Love Buzz out of it. None of this makes sense so All Apologies.:D

Hi Cowboy Bob - that's a good tale to be able to tell!

Mark - amazing! 🙂

Did you find the kebanos? I saw them written about on another thread. I like munching on them and get mine in Sainsburys. I think lower carb is the way I'm going to head for a while.

Years ago, after I gave up smoking and piled weight on, that was what worked for me. Now I need to lose some weight I am going to try that again. After reading bits and pieces on here, that will also help with my blood sugars I think.

I get headaches/migraines, so won't go as low-carb as I did when I was on the previous diet which gave me headaches - am going to try 'lowish carb' and cut out bread/rice/pots and pasta and try to make it a 'way of life' for a while and see how I get on.

Headaches? - well that's withdrawal from your carb addiction for ya. No I'm not joking.

Cut it down gradually !!

Yeah, have had the the migraines and headaches since I was 20 - no cause could be found...have had loads of investigations.
They did get worse when I did ridiculously low carbs though...wouldn't do that again.
