If the Doc hasn't seen the patient's medical file he shouldn't give medical advice over t'internet.
Otherwise, good idea for general education, and good luck.

Following also. Seems like a good idea but will see how it works first. 🙂

I'm sure it will be like @DoctorChristian 's advice. Very generic and just general possibilities of what things could be or what 'might' help.

Some examples of his tweets:
THAT DEPENDS HOW IT'S EFFECTING U. SOMETIMES NOT. X RT @srsussudio: @DoctorChristian Can a women with turner's mosaic have children? x

USUALLY COS OF THE INSLUFFATION RT @JoshClark0: @DoctorChristian why is shoulder pain associated with laparosopic surgery?

NOT ALWAYS, IT CAN CAUSE PROBS RT @abigailchip: @DoctorChristian is lactulose suitable for someone who is dairy intolerant?

Sure, if he gets any real cries for help he will likely say "Go see your GP".

Can we give some thought to the public perception of diabetes on twitter. Some of the tweets (140 character limit allowed for) are sounding very generalised regarding diabetes = unhealthy people = slobs.

I've always eaten healthily. My risk of cancer or dementia may be increased by diabetes but not by unhealthy diet.

Sadly that's not how the tweet reads. I quote...

#diabetes has been associated with increased risk of cancer and dementia. Part of the story may be lack of healthy diets

A good reason why I dont tweet etc etc, i have enough close minded people who i have to keep correcting i dont need the cyber world added to that list
