Hi everyone thanks for your imput, can not take Metformin as I started on that and had an allergic reaction to it, hence on Gliclazide. I do have other health issues prior to Diabetes and have developed psorisis since. So lots of things to get to grips with. I think I will phone the clinic for a chat with GP or Nurse just to put mind at rest.
I knew I would get good advice from those who have experienced the illnes🙂
Thank-you all for your advice.

My Dad has suffered from psoriasis for 25 years and it got really bad until a couple of years ago when he started having UV light treatment. It doesn't work for everyone, but has completely transformed him - he is now almost completely free of problems 🙂

I hope you are feeling better soon. I'm in the happy position of being able to inject more insulin if my levels get too high, so can imagine it must be very frustrating for you.
Hi Northerner,
See I am so new to Psoriasis I still spell it wrong, GP, is really only treating on problem at a time so Diabetes is his 1st choice, so apart from useless creams and lotions, I have not yet been refered to a dermatologist yet. So pleased your father has had success wtih the UV treatment, its such an embarrasing compliant. Thanks for link to Association will give it a go.

Hi I have been newly diagnosed, and have Type 2 diabetes, my last visit to GP he upped my Gliclazide tabs, for 80mg to 160mg as I have trouble keeping my sugar levels down, I have been feeling off colour for a day or two now and my readings have been consistently high 21.9 too 13.8, I am fairly good about what I eat and with xmas on the way have been even more caustious about my intake... do I ned to worry that they are so high much of the time???? Don't want to bother GP with the weather we are having, he probably has enough to do.
