Hi everyone

My autistic son was newly diagnosed last week, following my taking him to A & E with what turned out to be DKA.

He’s doing well. It’s early days and we are awaiting the results of a blood test to determine what type of diabetes he has. I give him insulin using a pen and we came home with a lot of kit. I can’t work out what these are - can anyone tell me please?

All the best

Jude

Welcome @JudeandJack I’ve never seen anything like that before. Does the top unscrew? Any clues from the other stuff you were given? Any notes or prescription?

Welcome to the forum @JudeandJack

Sorry to hear about your son’s diagnosis :(

Great to hear he‘s got off to a good start. We have a few members here who live with autism who may be along to share their experiences.

I’m afraid I don’t recognise those things either - probably best to go back to whoever issued the prescription and dished out the kit?
