None of us hadn't heard of them either at one time Rae - but a number of us are saying the same thing about tests for the same reason.

Most of the test results will be back with your GP within a day or two, where I live it's within 24hrs, but the c-peptide one if it is being done, takes longer to do in the lab.

The results of my xray were good. The rest of my blood test results were also good apart from I have a Vitamin D deficiency. My doctor has prescribed tablets for this and I am having another blood test in 6 weeks for the diabetes and 11 weeks for the Vitamin D deficiency. I am so surprised about the deficiency, as I have never had anything like this before. The nurse has finally done a swab regarding my thrush situation. She was really shocked when she saw it. I have to wait a few days for the results, then hopefully I will be finally sorted - Yay!!! Has anyone else had vitamin D deficiency?
