I make sugarfree jelly and add some berries to it and have that with cream for desert. I also have the high protein yoghurts or Kvarg deserts.
Thank you, will add some berries - great idea. Was looking at some high protein Yoghs and kvarg deserts yesterday actually, talked myself out of buying tho as again I was looking at the over 5g of carbs that sugar ….. will try some now tho.

The Kvarg desert is only 5.1g carb per pot, that is the relevant thing rather than the sugar.

Full fat fruit yoghurt is the worst of both worlds.
Lidl's Creamy Greek Style Natural Yogurt seems to be just milk (with the cream). It tastes good and comes in 1 kg tubs.

Hi. My yogurts are called 'Light & Free' which most supermarkets stock. They have their own sweetener added. I use various sweeteners with my coffee etc but typically Canderel amongst others.
Yogurt (Milk), Strawberry (12%), Oligofructose (Fibre), Starches (Potato, Tapioca), Modified Maize Starch, Stabiliser (Pectin, Carrageenan), Flavourings, Acidity Regulators (Calcium Citrate, Sodium Citrate, Lactic Acid), Black Carrot Juice Concentrate, Sweeteners (Acesulfame K, Sucralose), Vitamin D

or buy plain greek yogurt without all the additives and add a few strawberries. Full fat ideally to keep you full but even low fat is better than these.

canderel has maltodextrin as the main bulking ingredient. It has a very high gi and will raise blood glucose even without calories.

It's ok to eat the same thing everyday I think. Don't feel pressured for variety. If you eat broccoli and chicken, or broccoli and steak almost every meal and some berries for dessert, the science shows this is very unlikely to raise your blood sugars much. Eat eggs for breakfast, non-starchy vegetables, and if you need to snack, snack on nuts and seeds. Drink only water as well, or tea or coffee but water is best. Absolutely no sugary drinks (pop and juice), nothing packaged, no breads, cereals or grains as well if you can manage that. This should keep blood sugars down from what I understand.

Thank you for this

I find saturated fats, red meats, raise my cholesterol.
