Yes my understanding is that GAD positive is not necessarily conclusive on its own, and it would not be unexpected for a T2 (with insulin resistance) to have a higher than reference range cPeptide.

Are they recommending a change in your treatment plan?

The nurse is not a Diabetes specialist.
She wants to do another HBA1C. Given blood sugar daily bloods are down I know that will have gone down
Nurse is happy metformin has brought blood glucose down to 6.8
I’m fit always gymmed, but admittedly always ate a dessert
I’m 5.11 and 81kg
My treatment plan is I guess as was 500 x 4 metformin
What’s your thoughts/advice on potential changes?
See a specialist? They wouldn’t refer me till the Pep test came back
