I am concerned that you have nothing to be able to check your blood glucose. It is a pity they did not check it with you at the hospital.
Can you get to a pharmacy for them to check the one you have.

I had this when I was first diagnosed. Wash your hands in warm water and clench hands into fists a few times and prick side of finger. Make sure blood is being ‘sucked up’ by the strip. I was using loads of strips and not putting the blood on the right part. Good luck !!

Hi I've just been diagnosed and really struggling testing my blood sugars as no blood is coming out .I have tried lots of things

I just wrap an elastic band round my finger. Works a treat.

Thank you all I used my dad's machine tonight to test my sugars and it works fine just the glucofix tech machine from the hospital keeps not working x
