Welcome Col29. Do ask if there's anything in particular you're struggling with. Between us, there's a wide pool of experience to draw from.

recently diagnosed type 2 and feeling over whelmed with everything

Hi Col, welcome to the forum 🙂 There is a lot to take in at first, but it does become easier, so take things at your own pace - nothing drastic will happen overnight, so you don't need to know everything from the start. I would suggest reading Jennifer's Advice and Maggie Davey's letter to give you a good grounding, and also get a copy of Type 2 Diabetes: The First Year by Gretchen Becker, which is highly recommended by many of our members.

Are you on any medication for your diabetes? How did you come to be diagnosed? Try not to worry - many people find that their diagnosis is the kickstart they need to start making positive changes in their lives, and we have lots of members who now find themselves feeling happier and healthier than they felt for some time prior to their diagnosis 🙂

If you have any questions - nothing is considered 'silly'! - then please do ask and we will do our best to help 🙂

Welcome to the forum col29 🙂
