Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hello, I am Stuart. I am nearly 70 years old. I am a Type 2 diabetic and have been for 15 years approximately. I do not have any major issues just old age getting in the way. Is anyone else in a similar situation?

Hello and welcome to the forum 🙂
Being nearly 70 makes you very young, so old age can't be getting in the way yet 🙂

Hi @stuart872 and welcome to the forum. I'm a mere spring chicken at 62 :D I was only diagnosed 14 months ago and it's actually the best thing that could have happened because I changed my lifestyle completely and now feel fitter than I've done for 20 years.

Is your Type 2 well under control? And via meds or diet?

Welcome to the forum @stuart872

Well done on your 15 years with diabetes. Sounds like you have been managing well over that time, good to hear you have learned to live well with it 🙂
