Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi, just been told i am type 2. Yes that opens a ream of questions, i have started to trawl the forum. I am actively exercising and controlling my diet, have been prescribed Metformin but would like to get off that.

Hi @Mrc2020
welcome to the forum

Metformin is probably the most popular medication prescribed to treat T2 diabetes, but there are others

ive been on Metformin for far to long (due to my poor control)

however I have a friend who initially was put on insulin then his DSN moved him onto metformin,
however he now just controls his diabetes with diet alone !

you Say you have many questions ?
ask away, this is a friendly place & people will answer

Thanks for the welcome, i have posted a question in weight loss and so far recieved great feedback.

Mark.
