Hi,
Newbie, type 2 with HbA1c of 79 which has gone up over the last few years. 56 male also with high blood pressure. Was wondering if anyone has heard anymore about shielding? I live in Scotland but now worried of being asked/forced into the office. Has any contacted their GP directly to ask for a shielding letter due to their age and blood and hba1c

Yes I had seen this and plan to speak to my GP on Monday

Type 2 (and type 1) does not currently mean you get put on the clinically extreemly vunerable list. Those diabetics with other major conditions may be added by their gp.
