Type 2
Hello I have joined the forum after 14 years of self management of type 2 using insulin. I cannot seem to keep my sugars stable right now with the glucose levels bouncing from very high to very low first no apparent reason. I've had good control up to now with Hba1c at 49% and my diet is pretty good. Does anyone have any experience of this type of thing happening. Thanks

Hi Welcome. What insulin are you on. Has this only happened recently or has it been going on a while.

... and as for diet - what do you actually eat? There may well be dead easy things we could suggest trying but not without more info, please!

PS - Hi Roberto!

Hi Roberto, welcome to the forum. A sample menu would be interesting and informative. People would be able to suggest improvements/changes. There are some real experts on here imho. :D I've learnt loads since being sortov diagnosed in November. I seem to have my BG under control which makes me feel very happy. Today I was 5.1 on getting up (despite DP), 5.7 before brunch, 5.1 before dinner. I don't need to take any meds though or not that I know of. What sort of numbers do you have?
