hi,im Marti and i have a six year old daugther who was diagnosed with diabetes three months ago.she has coped with it very well as she has four insulin injections a day.Its me who is struggling to cope with the highs and lows.I just seem to be stressed all the time and just when I think that i have got the hang of it,it all changes.

Hello and welcome to the forum , anything you want to know just ask 🙂 We have a lot of parents of Diabetic children who will be able to reassure and support you .

Hi Marti, welcome to the forum🙂 We have many members here who are, or have been, where you are now - it will get better. The good news is that your daughter has reacted so well and is coping with the injections, and that is no doubt because of the hard work and dedication of her mum, so be proud of what you have achieved! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask away - no question is considered 'silly' here, so don't be afraid to ask if you think it will help you.🙂
 
Welcome aboard Marti, can't imagine what you're going through but rest assured this place will hopefully help you, ask away rant away lots of parents and others here happy to share thoughts and ideas, it's a good club this one😉

My son was diagnosed two years ago, at the age of 10.

Hi Marti, welcome to the forum. I can't begin to imagine how it feels to have a young child suffering from Diabetes, but there are plenty of members who know, i'm sure they'll be happy to lend you an ear, a shoulder or a hug, whatever it may be that you need. Glad to hear your daughter is coping with her new condition well.
