Hello I'm new to this site.
Welcome, would you like to say a bit about your situation, what your HbA1C is, how long have you been diagnosed and what dietary approach are you adopting and are you on any medication to help people make suggestions..
Please ask any questions and have a look around the forum.

Welcome @Nanabear
This forum is great with a very knowledgeable membership.
We are all different. We treat our diabetes differently. We use the forum differently - some "lurk", some ask questions, some are on every day, some use it as a virtual social platform to chat with like-minded people who understand their situation, some share their life story, some share their diabetes, some seem like the Spanish Inquisition with the questions they ask (so they can provide a more specific to questions), some write essays, some short responses, some funny, some serious, ...
Feel free to share as much as you feel comfortable and answer as many (or few) questions as you would like.
Ask whatever you want, rant if you want, laugh and chat if you want.
Remember, we are not medically trained. We can just share our experiences.

Hi @Nanabear and welcome to the forum - feel free to use the forum however you like and don't feel that any questions you may have are "silly" or trivial - you will not be judged here - there are decades of experiences of living with Diabetes (every type you can think of) and we're all here to help each other

Hello @Nanabear and welcome to the forum
I see that we are the same age. Have you been recently diagnosed with diabetes? It's a lot to get your head round. There are a lot of friendly people here happy to share information, advice and support. They understand the frustrations and issues of living with diabetes. I hope you find reading the various posts useful, but please feel free to ask questions about anything that concerns you.
