Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi there
I have joined today. I have had diabetes T2 for 10 years, initially controlled well with diet & exercise, then tablet controlled and now insulin dependant. Going onto insulin has been all consuming but I have the libre and the tech has helped.
I hope to get some support and provide support if needed ❤️ Finn

Welcome to the forum @finnualaT

Hope you’ve settled into insulin use OK - it can be a bit of a scary prospect in the beginning, but is such an effective mechanism for glucose management.

Have you been shown how to adjust doses in line with the amount of carbohydrates in your meals? This can be really helpful in keeping weight stable on insulin, because you can adjust the sizes and carb content of your meals to suit you, rather than ‘feeding’ the insulin.
