Type 2
Hi
Just been diagnosed steroid induced type 2 diabetes, and had no help from doctors or hospital as keep cancelling my appointment,

Welcome to the forum @Toad

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis, and that you’ve not been able to get an appointment yet.

The backlog of appointments, covid staffing issues and the general chaos of the last few years have certainly made it really difficult for people who are receiving news of their diagnosis - it must be a really tough and distressing time for you :(

Have you been put on any medication as yet?

You might find you can get some helpful general information about diabetes in the Learning Zone which might give you some pointers - and the DUK main website has lots of information about T2 management (which overlaps quite a lot with steroid induced I think)

Been put on insulin and metformin but levels up and down, they just tell me to increase or reduce dose myself!!
