I have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. A bit confusing in general.

Hi Welcome. Yes its a bit of a shock as well as confusing isn't it.
Well you've found the right place for support and info from people who know what it's like.
You've probably got 101 questions flying around so ask away, it would help if you let us know a bit more, ie diabetic meds or just diet and exersize, how did you come to be diagnosed.

Welcome to the forum, lyline. You'll need to know about diet (mainly considering carbohydrate content), exercise / activity, body weight (reducing if you're overweight, maintaining if you're correct weight), medication (if prescribed) and blood glucose testing to discover how specific food and exercise affect you.

Hi and welcome to the forum. It can be very daunting but this forum is a great place for help and advice.

Welcome aboard. Confusion is an understatement I suspect:D but you've found a great place for help.

Welcome to the forum, you have just taken an important step in managing your disease by joining a support group. Ask away & there will be numerous people jumping to give advice.
