Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Diagnosed as Type 2 about 10 years ago when I was 50, I control my condition with drugs and diet. I also make sure I am fit and not overweight.
I have joined here to try and establish the truth about a lot of myths surrounding Type 2.

Hi @Len Betts, welcome to the forum! 🙂

It's great to hear you're doing well to stay fit and manage your weight. How are you finding your diabetes after ten years? Are you following any specific diets?

I agree, there are many misconceptions about diabetes. What kind of things would you like to know more about?

Welcome to the forum @Len Betts

Well done on your first diabetes decade 🙂

Which medication(s) do you use to help you manage your diabetes? And which forms of activity or exercise do you favour?

Are there any particular myths or diabetes stereotypes that particularly trouble you?
