Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
Hi All, I've just joined the site although I've had type 1 diabetes for 11 years and am also coeliac. Looking forward to picking up some tips and useful information through the conversations.

Hey, and welcome to the forum. If you have any questions feel free to ask away. Do you use injections or pump?

Welcome to the forum @Libbyloo
Glad that you have found the forum.

If you would like to, it would help us if you told us whether you are using injections or a pump and which insulin(s) you are using.

Do fire away with any questions that you have as there is plenty of experience on here to tap into

Welcome to the forum @Libbyloo - so pleased you have joined us 🙂

Is there anything in particular that you are finding difficult or frustrating about your diabetes at the moment?

How do you find balancing the needs of your coeliac with your diabetes?

Are you an active/fit type person?

Any fancy gizmos or gadgets like continuous sensors, apps, or a smart meter/bolus calculator?

Have you done DAFNE or anything like it?

Welcome @Libbyloo ☺️ it’s lovely to have you with us. Looking forward to hearing more from you on the forum. Like @CherrelleDUK said, I’m sure you’ve got plenty of experiences that can be useful to everyone on here, just as we can hopefully do the same for you. Do let us know if you need any help with anything
