Hi, was diagnosed in early March after a blood test unconnected to diabetes. To date l’ve gone through the usual checks apart from the eye test and it’s been a bit of a learning curve. That aside the change in diet it hasn’t been a biggie for me. In the main l cook just for me so no excuses there. Exercise is a bit of a bugger as l have a knee that is close to replacement but l get some in on my allotment. I am borderline with a mmol of 55 but not at all complacent with this condition. In all what l am trying to say is this is a life changing condition but a bit of self help goes a long way. Fell off the boat yesterday, skipped breakfast and lunch , worked for 4 hrs at the allotment and yes no water to hydrate me . Got home drank the tap dry and … you guessed it felt very ill. Lesson learned… you can’t take the pi**
