Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Found out I had Type 2 several weeks ago and have probably had it for some time too -- way high blood sugar readings:(. I've been cycling through denial, shock and fear but I want to set that aside now and just get on with it. It is great to read so many positive comments on this board. I've been ghosting for a while and it has given me a lot of encouragement. Have decided to out myself at work/with family & friends etc as well so I'll have to start talking about it now.

Hi and welcome - glad you decided to 'delurk'!🙂 And great to hear that you've decided to stay positive and get to grips with things - anything you need to know, just ask!🙂

Ditto Northerner from me - I went through exactly the same as you - but it's not so bad once you get your head around it.

Hello and welcome to the forum 🙂🙂
