Hi

I am new to the site. My other half is Diabetic and is controlled with an insulin pump. Although hypoes are less frequent now they still happen and sometimes I feel that no-one understands or cares about the pressure I feel under at times. Hoping to find that having this forum may help me feel less alone with this. Thanks

Hi Lea, great that you've found us!

Sorry to hear you are under so much pressure - as a type 1 myself, I can't imagine what it is like helping to look after someone is type 1 (if that makes sense). I'm 22 and have been type 1 for 19 years.

It might be of interest to you that I have just set up an informal support group for people living in the Midlands 🙂 I'm a Brummie! The website is midlandsyoungdiabetics.wordpress.com 🙂

Hi Lea, welcome to the forum 🙂 You are more than welcome to share your feelings with us here, and in turn those of us who have diabetes all learn more about what it is like for those around us. If there is anything you don't understand or would like to know, just ask and we will try our best to help 🙂

Hi Lea, welcome to the forum.
