Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
Hi, my name is Terry Burge. I'm a newbi to this site but been a Diabetes UK member for a long time! I'm a type 1 Diabetic & have been for 27 years! I have suffered complications along the way including a TIA & a Heart Attack about 3 years ago.

Hi Terry, welcome to the forum 🙂 Sorry to hear about the TIA and heart attack, I hope you have recovered well. Please feel free to join in wherever you wish, always good to have another experienced voice - and as you probably would agree, it's never too late to learn from others as far as diabetes is concerned! 🙂

Hi Terry. I’ll second what Northie said. I’ve been T1 for 21 years too, and I’ve learned more on this forum in a couple of years than I did for the previous 20.

Great forum, great people. 🙂

Hi Terry - I’m a T1 diagnosed 5 weeks ago. Welcome. This is an amazing forum and I have learnt so much and am slowly reading lots of older posts and gaining so much info. I’ve qsked a few questions and received really brilliant and supportive advice and info.
Take care.
