just found this site been diabetic since god knows when type 2 with all that goes with it just recebtly my sugars have been up have got trace of ketones and lucasites in urine they cant make their mind up if i have bladder infection or kidney trouble blood pressure up back at nurse friday as the blood pressure was in the 190/84 last week on anitibacterials for the infection been reaaly outsorts any one had these problems thanx

results

just got results for my check up hbaic 11.1 cholestrol 7.6still not feeling well felt a litle better yesterday but feel c**p againtoday bladder infection has knocked me for 6 but my urine has no signs of any thing thats from lab urine tested today with nurse sugar still high so have to see dr tuesday i have physio monday for back problems so all in all not a good week

That's not the best news is it Rose? :( What steps is your doctor taking to help you get your HbA1c down? I know you said you were on gliclizide, but if your HbA1c is so high it doesn't sound as though it is helping much. What is your diet like? Do you test to see what impact eating different things has on your blood sugar levels? Are you taking statins for your cholesterol?
