Following a blood test showing 46 HBA1C I have strayed from the path of healthy eating etc. So from 1/1/2025 I am going to be Mr Healthy 2025.

Resolutions
1) lower my carb intake to 50g per day.
2) drink alcohol up to 14 units a week ( could be difficult on recent consumption)
3) Eat berries, veg grown above ground, legumes and lentils with meat/ fish only. No rice bread, pasta or potato (quite easy)
4) Walk 50000 steps a week.
5) Drink more water up to 10 glasses a day.
6) Do my back exercises every day to remain supple ( currently resembling a rust gate)
7) Lose 2lbs a week until May. Currently 214lbs. Goal 180lbs.
My next blood test is in May. If I don't achieve 40mmols/mol or less I will have failed.

I think I can do this. I need to do this.
