Just had second meeting with the Diabetes Nurse, at my Doctors Surgery. She was able to put my mind at rest about feeling slightly dizzy/light headed when walking the dog in early morning.
HAVE SOME BREAKFAST BEFORE YOU GO OUT!
Could be good advice to everyone.
🙂 🙂 🙂

Welcome to the forums CherryRoy 🙂

Yes, having breakfast is a good idea since for many of us our levels will raise until we eat something (caveman reaction).

But what you eat for breakfast can be important too... Since in the morning you are at your most insulin-resistant, eating something packed with carb's isn't always the best idea.

Welcome CherryRoy. I try to have my breakfast before taking the dogs out. A slice of grilled bacon, tomato and mushrooms is nice also an egg boiled or scrambled makes a good start to the day. Good luck with D, you have found a source of a lot of information and knowledge from lovely people. They have helped me a lot. 🙂
