Our problem is that we have Insulin Resistance & as a consequence can't process carbohydrates properly.... Though through changes in lifestyle we can control out T2.... One of the first areas is in Diet & Exercise... My initial advice is to cut or reduce carb sources such as Bread, Rice, Pasta, Cereals & Starchy foods (such as potatoes); instead replacing them with green leafy vegetables grown above ground.
A second area to consider is testing (the medical profession (in the UK) is pretty much against self testing), however, to determine what foods affect you (& hence make the decision to drop them from your diet) self-testing is an invaluable tool.
