Hi I’m very new to this site and I’m looking forward to learning more about my diagnoses of diabetes 2

Can anyone tell me where I would get advice about metformin side affects

There will be information on the leaflet. The usual side effects seem to be digestive upsets. There is a slow-release version that’s supposed to be gentler on the stomach.

If you want input from other members about how it affected them, you could always start a new thread to ask 🙂

Welcome to the forum @Kaz34

There’s also information about Metformin on the NHS website here:

Thank you for your help

No problem! Feel free to keep asking away with any questions as they crop up, or start a thread to ask for other members' experiences of anything that feels a bit scary or unknown 🙂
