Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
Hey guys..........

I am new to this site, although not new to diabetes, been type 1 for 11 years.

I am actually a DAFNE veteran and have been quite active on thier forums and enjoying it so thought I would widen my reach to the diabetic community.

I am not here to preach about DAFNE as its not for everyone, just hear to chat about our conditions and help anyone out who needs it...

Hope to hear from you all soon.......

Hi & welcome Novorapidboi.
There's lots of variations in approaches to type 1 here, all welcome, plus there are type 2s, carers & parents. I haven't done DAFNE, mainly because could never spare time when it was on (juggling up 1 part time & 3 part time jobs at any one time makes getting a whole week off somewhat difficult), but have picked up a lot from talking with a hospital dietician, a DAFNE graduate I met through a mutal friend, plus online Bournemouth course, plus trial & error, particularly for endurance sports.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
