Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
Hi , my name is Andy I've been type 1 for over 45 yrs. Have just started on pump therapy,( 3 days ago ) , I can't believe the difference / potential this peice of kit has for really finetuning my control. being able to deliver the tiniest amount of insulin over a long period of time , ( currently 0.8u/h in 3 min intervals) I can't imagine how it can possibly measure such a small amount . Also being able to measure in 100ths of a unit , just seems unreal.
Had a couple of problems with manual canula insertion , but other than that , i am massively impressed. Avereage Bg over the 3 days 5.0. Need i say more?
