Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on de-lurking and in taking a big step towards the next chapter of your diabetes-management story. Sharing experiences, frustrations and struggles can be really helpful.

and as you are emotionally 'starting over' you might consider getting hold of a copy of Gretchen Becker's book 'Type 2 Diabetes: The First Year'
