Having lots of low readings & lowering insulin now to 12 in am 8 at pm, starting today. ( having been reducing gradually). I've been getting loads of toilet issues & BLOOMIN diabolical wind!
Diabetic nurse at surgery shrugged her shoulders at my saying toilet problems were bad & said it wouldn't be connected with diabetes. At my whits end now

Welcome Chris! Sounds v. uncomfortable. Don't think I can be much help but maybe if you don't mind saying what other meds you're on & what other conditions, somebody else might have more of a clue. You'll find people very helpful & friendly. Good luck!

Hello @Mistachris , welcome to the forum. I saw your post on the waking average thread, that you are having so many lows is rather worrying to say the least and not very pleasant for you.
Are you on any other medications for diabetes ? also are you in close contact with your team or nurse about your hypo’s ?

Would yo by any chance also be on Metformin, the reason I ask is that it is well known for causing such problems, in fact we often call it Metfartin on here.

I assume Humalin 3 is a mixed insulin which I know little about, others here will though .
