Hello Gillian

me and my partner would love to have a baby dont know how to bring my hc1 down its currently 79 this is good for me but obviously would live it to be lower any ideas would be appreciated

I found reducing spikes after meals helped. Also, making sure your basal rate is right. Even making small adjustments helps.

Are you on injections or a pump? Are you carb-counting and adjusting your insulin to suit what you’re about to eat? Is there any particular times of the day (or night) when you’re higher than you’d like?

With regard to the coil, you might be better starting another thread with that in the title, so you get more responses from women who’ve used one. (I haven’t)
