My name is Lisa and l have a partner who has type 1 diabetes and l have just joined this group to give myself a look see at what is going on in the world of diabetes and there is a lot to take in!
l have got one important question and here seems the right place to ask it. Does anyone know where l can sell a modern, unused insulin pump please. lt is stored under my bed when somebody should be using it.

Hi Lisa,
welcome to the forum.
In answer to question re the pump, it can not be sold it's a prescription item.
Also if the PCT provided that pump it's not your property to sell either.
Best bet is to return it to where it came from.

Assuming you're in the UK and the insulin pump was supplied by the NHS, then, as Pumper Sue says, it should be returned to the organisation that paid for it - probably the local PCT.

In that case Lisa, you need to return that pump to the nearest hospital or from where it came as it was not prescribed to either you or him. The warranty is also non transferable so it's basicaly a dangerous piece of medical equipment in the wrong hands. 😱
