Hi I'm Ben and I've been Type 1 Diabetic living in silence for quite some time and now opening up about it after 26 years of having the condition. Want to meet people with same condition as me and share experiences, fun times.

It is quite common to keep things close to your chest for such a long time. I was never one to seek out other T1s, but wished I'd done it years sooner.🙂

WHat sort of insulin regime are you on and do you have any particular concerns?

Hiya - I waited till I'd had it 35 years!

I found that other diabetics are just people same as me. Many of em with an equally daft sense of humour, some of whom enjoy the same things as me. And some of em don't. ...... LOL
