Hi everyone. My name is John, I am 80 and live near to Bournemouth. I have type 2 with insulin. Lost sight in left eye due to macular. Have a few problems regarding mobility due to claudication. But I am coping and am happy. Here if anyone wishes to chat. All the best everyone.

Hi John and welcome although I appreciate you have already posted on a few other threads previous to this.

Sorry to hear that you are suffering with some quite serious complications of your diabetes. Have you had diabetes quite a number of years?

Which insulin do you have and how are you getting on with it?
Do you have a Libre or other Constant Glucose Monitor (CGM) to keep track of your levels or are you totally reliant on finger pricks for your Blood Glucose (BG) readings?
