Hey Scott. First thing I would suggest is to count your carbs and start understanding the Nutritional box on the back of all food packaging. Ignore the ingredients box, its a DECOY. Look for Carbs and "Carbs of which sugars", then minus the fibre carbs.. It can be confusing at start, but its the CARBS is the number your looking for.
Keep it at 50-100 Carbs or below and your under control with no Meds. Just have more protein until you get it under control. You need to have fibre, like peanuts or best Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Broccoli. Etc, Peanuts work with me, but their Calorific and need to be moderated. The salt in them helps with the dizzy spells, with your electrolytes in check. Best not to start with them but consider salt intake due to lack of carbs. YouTube is a joke, so don't self diagnose there.
