Went for an interview this week, just had the call to say i didnt get the job. Feeling very sad at the moment, as it was something I really wanted!

Still, the interview was good experience so hopefully will help towards any future roles i apply for!

Emma, I know exactly how you feel. I found out last Friday that I'd failed at interview (they promoted from within). Moped around last weekend and hit the websites this week. Good luck in your search. Somebody needs YOU, they just don't know it yet!

Commiserations to both of you. Have you asked for feed back? Good luck for the future

I have had some feedback, which will help in future interviews. Just need to line those up!!!

LeeLee I'm sorry you didnt get the job you wanted. I'm sure there is a firm out there desperate for our amazing skills!!!! Its just a case of tracking them down.

Emma sorry you didt get the job next time it will go your way good luck

Emma, I was going to say, Ask em for feedback - though the last time I asked I had the response 'We use psychological testing to make these decisions so I can't tell you the reason' which is bollards.

How do you know that the test tested me for the traits you wanted in your employees then?

But I see you did that anyway, which is good! - if you can improve those areas and always supposing the next employer happens to like the same things of course ....... :D

Sorry to hear that, its a c**p felling I know, but it will pass. Theres still so much competition for jobs its tough out there. You can hold your head up high knowing that you got as far as interview stage and did your best. x 🙂
