Good morning everyone!
I have at last have a new driving job, starting this Tuesday as a minibus school driver, as the DVLA has legally approved my PVC licence! This is after two months from being dismissed from the garden centre non driving job. And after very nearly one year, after giving up my coach driving job.
I'm thrilled to bits and cannot wait to start, and also to earn some money again.
Despite some recent spikes and a severe hypo, I'm now fit enough to drive a public vehicle. I fully understand my understand my responsibilities as a sufferer. More good news, I'm going on a one day carb counting course this coming Wednesday. The good news doesn't end there. I'm applying to have the Dexcom one plus instead, of the Libre 2. I would be able to the low glucose alarm at a higher level, which is great for driving.
I couldn't be happier!

Nice one well done looks like things are on the up

Delighted for you Paul! Very best of luck with your new job. Great that you feel able to go back to driving professionally again!

Hi Paul.Funny how life can change quickly and delighted that you have a start date and have a relaxing B/H then start a new chapter in your life.
I fully understand how important this is to you personally and for your family and can tell it is like a big Rock has been removed from your shoulders.
Now with your lightened load I sense a really bright future and very well deserved.

Brilliant news @Busdriver60 So pleased your licence has been approved and you have a job you enjoy.
