Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
I have had T1D for 25 years now, I don’t actually have any friends with diabetes and have set up an Instagram page to try and get across the ups and downs of having diabetes while working and being a lone parent.
If anyone is on Instagram and would like to follow me then please do; @type1singlemum
I am hoping to connect with others either in a similar situation and to reach out to others too. It takes a village as they say.
Thank you!!

I’d follow you but I don’t do at all on Insta.
Good luck!

I do here, my old Buffy forum, Facebook and the occasional peek at my Twitter. My family think I'm daft being online at all. Good luck with your quest. 🙂

Welcome to the forum @Type1singlemum
I am another that does not use Instagram, but I wish you well with your project.
I also hope that you can find support from this forum. You certainly have a good few years under your belt and it would be great to hear more from you if you have time.

Hope you find lots of others to connect to @Type1singlemum

This is an old post, but might give some pointers.

Quite a few people with diabetes in the UK tend to gravitate towards the hashtag #gbdoc as well as #t1dlookslikeme and other more generic hashtags
