So far, so good. He reduced my Lisonopril dosage by half (blood pressure good), referred me straight away for podiatry, gave me a meter - but I'll have to ask DSN about refill packs of strips at my next visit.

Great news, hope things continue well for you.
 
Forgot to add that this GP actually told me what my last HbA1C was (from October)... it was 5.9
